Mmmm on the fence about this one. I'm not happy with the colors, but then again I didn't actually have any set colors for it.
The idea came back a year or so ago, when I was just frustrated with reality and wished I could be shut out from it forever asleep.
Just recently got around to redrawing it and finishing it. yay first original piece of 2012.

Ohh I love when you allow comments because then I can comment on how much I love your pieces. ; v ; That is to say, the concept of this, first off, is amazing within itself. Your visual interpretation of it is both beautiful and chilling, and surreal. There's a line between reality and sleep that's just a bit indiscernible here; what has become her reality? Even the colours themselves are dreamlike and smooth. The idea is powerful and you've executed it so brilliantly, and I and I'm sure others as well can relate to a theme like this: have you ever tried inducing lucid dreaming? It's a tempting ability which fascinated me for a while. Anyway I love thinking about some of your pieces because I feel like I can get just so much more from them than I can most pieces I see on here daily. (: <3
